Danica Gorski, generally going by Dani, is a sanctioned Imperial psyker and agent of the Inquisition. She works for Inquisitor Michael and specialises in intelligence and infiltration.

Origins and Recruitment

Dani was identified at a young age as a psyker and collected by the black ships. With enough psychic potential and willpower to save her from the golden throne, she was trained by the Adeptus Astra Telepathica for Imperial duty. Her powers being more mental than physical, she was routed to the Inquisition rather than becoming an Imperial Guard Battle Psyker and dispatched to Hydraphur for assignment.

Whilst Micheal's experience within the Imperial guard has left him distrustful of psykers, particularly battle psykers, once he reached the rank of Inquisitor he was aware that not having a psyker on staff would leave him vulnerable. He made a request to the Inquistorial sector headquarters at Hydraphur and of the agents currently available he selected Dani.

Equipment

Dani's primary job is infiltration and intelligence gathering, so her equipment is generally whatever her disguise demands. On the odd occasion she is called to battle she favours a simple armoured bodyglove and a flak coat, so she can quickly shed the coat and pull some other disguise over her bodyglove if needed. She caries a pair of compact stubbers, favouring the psychological impact of a slug-thrower over a less violent seeming laspistol. For close combat she has a telescopic force rod. She is not particularly good with these weapons, however she is able to use her psychic powers to enhance her abilities temporarily.
