Ephramundi

Ephramundi is an agri-world at the coreward trailing edge of the Kapran sub. No significant disturbances had been recorded until an Inquisition operation by Inquisitors Ashar Lear and Eidan Drake to purge a trio of daemonhosts had the profoundly unfortunate side effect of creating devastating planet-wide warp incursions. It transpires that the planet has substantial deposits of charged blackstone, and it was only the continued employment of these daemonhosts that had, via unknown arcane rituals, kept the veil from thinning. Complete political collapse was only prevented by the deployment of eight companies of the Cobalt Scions and a squad of Grey Knights. Significant sections of the planet remain under quarantine, although the largest warp rift has now been closed by the Grey Knights. The Cobalt Scions are aiding in ongoing efforts to contain the daemons to those areas closest to the largest blackstone deposits, and a plan being formulated to close more rifts, get agricultural production back on track, create new infrastructure, and - it is hoped - to mine the naturally occurring blackstone for use off-world.
