Fabricator Hephastus Acetae is a tech-priest of the Adeptus Mechanicus. When he first entered Inquisitorial service his fundamentalist belief in the Cult Mechanicus was at odds with the more realist approach of Inquisitor Drake. Since his first mission for the Inquisition, he had mostly kept his head down in the Obelisk until Inquisitor Michael summoned him to accompany the Inquisitor on a mission to the Halo Zone. On the basis that this would be a dangerous mission Acetae sought Michael's permission to requisition a bodyguard.

Beliefs

Since his initial clash with Drake and subsequent eye-opening into the realm of the Inquisition, Acetae has had something of an epiphany regarding the interpretation of the teaching of the Cult Mechanicus. For example he modified the Sicarian Ruststalker Alpha-532 to be more of a hybrid between a Ruststalker and a Sicarian Infiltrator.

Cybernetics

Fabricator Acetae is a strong believer in self improvement. His left arm and both legs are cybernetic, and he has two additional mechanical arms emerging underneath the normal two. It is unclear how much of the rest of him is cybernetic and how much is advanced armour, but he claims that if you only count his original body, he has not yet passed the Crux Mechanicus (the point where a body is more machine than flesh).

Equipment

Fabricator Acetae carries an Arc Pistol side arm, but prefers not to engage in combat. He also carries various electronic devices and tools as one would expect from a Fabricator of the Adeptus Mechanicus.
