The Andaras Affair

Da Two Worlds Waaagh invades Andaras prompting a response by the Cobalt Scions 3rd Company. The conflict exposed the presence of Host Taliesin of the Aeldari, investigating xeno-archeology, and a growing branch of the Starborn Souls Genestealer cult. It immediately preceded the Season of Fire.

Ultimately the Cobalt scions were able to drive the foes away from Andaras, however it was far form a total victory.

• The Two Worlds Waaagh escaped fairly unscathed having stolen some archeotec, a very advanced void shield and a personal teleportation device.
• Host Taliesen made a truce with the Scions and, beyond a minor skirmish with the Orks, mostly concentrated on the cultists. The Aeldari were keen to aquire some ancient xeno-archeology, however the cultists believed that they were relics of the "star gods" and tried to claim them for themselves, largely unsuccessfully.
• The Starborn Souls managed to evacuate some of their numbers off-world after a daring but costly assault on the planetary defence lasers. This was complicated somewhat when the aircraft of Host Taliesen shot down the shuttle with the relics they had managed to steal, however the ground forces of the cult were able to drive the Aeldari off and reclaim the relics. They then headed to Saban's Hope.
