This system in the Iolan Reaches features a pair of habitable but arid desert worlds, both of which appear to have substantial blackstone deposits. The blackstone does not appear to be of any interest to the small but technologically developed ork populations on the planet.

The blackstone deposits were flagged by an explorator vessel in 997.M41. Some years later, led by the prognostications of their Librarians, the Cobalt Scions prevented a World Eaters warband from using the Blackstone for unknown purposes and, having become aware of the planets, set about aiding the Adeptus Terra in establishing a mining colony, laying down the basic infrastructure of space ports on both planets, and connecting them to the largest deposits with roads. While the colony is still being established, the Scions have maintained a garrison, primarily made up of the Novitiate Auxilia and reserve units, to defend the colony against raids, both from the local orks and from elsewhere.

Kryaskonis Alpha

The larger of the two planets, the gravity is tiring but manageable for baseline humans, and the atmosphere breathable but thin. Sandstorms are common, and rugged buildings are needed to protect against the heat of the day and the cold of the night.

Port Aterizar

With an organised road grid laid down by the Cobalt Scions' head architect Felicita Morleio, this is the system's largest Imperial settlement, but with a population of around 90,000 it is a small city by Imperial standards. It is centered around its Commercia district, with the hab zone on one side, the space port's two terminals on the other, and further out of town, the city's power station.

Delving Alpha-3

Known as Sysipheum, this equatorial blackstone mine is notorious for the punishing daytime heat. Being sent to work here is used as a threat to colonists who fail to meet their work quotas or are found guilty of various crimes.

Kryaskonis Beta

The smaller of the Kryaskonii, but no less arid. Inhabitants have to be careful to avoid being weakened by the lower gravity. The atmosphere is thicker, making the climate less extreme to work in, but this does mean that sandstorms are that much more spectacular.

Port Skavos

This port has only recently become functional. Most of the habs are occupied by construction personnel working on establishing the town as quickly and efficiently as possible.
