This region of the Eridani Sector is known by many names, most of them superstitious: Wyrdspace, the Wyrd Sisters, and other permutations of the theme. This is because the region has, for unknown reasons, a higher than average incidence of psykers. Indeed, this phenomena is so widely recognised by people from other sub-sectors that people from the Graiae are sometimes referred to as latents.
The way in which each of the Graiae systems handles this issue varies.
